Can I download a video from a private group?

No. Group posts are only visible to members, so there is no public file to fetch. That applies to groups you are in yourself too, unless the person who posted also made the post public. Facebook has no setting that exposes a group post publicly while it stays inside the group.

Why does the file have no sound?

Facebook keeps the picture and the sound apart for a lot of older uploads, Watch especially. Rows marked + audio carry no sound of their own and are merged with the best available audio track automatically, so pick the resolution you want and the sound comes with it.

Can I download from Facebook Watch?

Yes, as long as the episode is publicly viewable. Watch pages list every quality on offer and the highest one is usually the one worth taking. Episodes still on trial, already bought, or locked behind a subscription cannot be fetched.
