Why did it fail, or why can't the video be fetched?

Usually the video is private, region- or age-restricted, or the platform is throttling requests from the server's IP. Try again a little later. HLS/DASH formats and live streams are not supported.

Why am I seeing "server is busy"?

The number of downloads running at the same time is capped so the server does not fall over and everyone still gets a turn. Wait a moment and repeat the request.

Why is the MP3 sometimes bigger than a 360p video?

MP3 is converted to 320 kbps so the quality holds up, and that number can come out larger than a heavily compressed low-resolution video. Compared with 720p and above, MP3 is still far smaller.

Are the files kept permanently?

No. Files are deleted 30 minutes after the download finishes, so there is no archive that can be opened again afterwards.

Is it fine to download copyrighted video?
